Inspired by true events, A Chitenge Story is the story of a young woman who travels to her native Zambia to find and confront the man who abused her as a child. The trouble is she doesn’t know his name, can’t remember his face, and must keep this mission a secret from everyone.
Following each performance, audiences are invited to join brief post-performance conversations featuring specialists in the field of sexual abuse and trauma.
